Germinating Cannabis Mimosa Seeds

It is important to germinate your Mimosa seed carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique.

Before removing our Mimosa seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Hands can be full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin the germination process.

  • Use sterile tweezers or gloves.
  • Two plates or an airtight container (sterilized)
  • Two sheets of kitchen paper (neutral and odorless)
  • Distilled water.

Remember, this is the best technique or method to germinate our seeds. Never place them directly in the soil.

  1. Place a paper towel on top of a plate. Spray the paper towel with the distilled water.
  2. Place your Mimosa seed on the damp paper towel and place the other paper towel on top of the Feminized seeds without applying pressure. Spray with water and cover your Feminized seeds with the other plate.
  3. For optimal conditions, place Mimosa seeds in a quality zone of 70-90ºF.
  4. Check your seeds every 4-6 hours to make sure the towels are never dry. Now, wait between 24-120 hours for our cannabis seeds to germinate.

Blimburn Seeds recommends our customers to record their germination process to claim any seeds that do not germinate.

We have a germination guarantee for our customers within three months of purchase, excluding any coupon, promotion or BOGO.

Mimosa Seeds Flowering Time

Cultivating the Mimosa strain is a rewarding endeavor, and understanding its flowering time is crucial for a successful harvest. Typically, Mimosa’s flowering period lasts around 9 to 10 weeks, making it relatively fast-paced compared to some other strains.

This is particularly advantageous for growers seeking timely yields. By employing proper techniques and providing optimal conditions, growers can encourage the Mimosa plants to develop dense, resinous buds that embody the strain’s desirable traits.

How To Grow Weed – Mimosa Seeds?

Mimosa seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors – under optimal conditions, to avoid any problems during their development. Although they are compact and robust, moderately easy to grow and hardy, we should always prevent any pests.

You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Feminized Mimosa buds.

  • Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat, or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
  • Thanks to the experience of our customers with our Mimosa strain, we know that we can increase yields up to 20%.

For optimal indoor cultivation, Blimburn Seeds advises wide, vertical spaces and the use of the ScrOG method to obtain a uniform plane and increase the size of the lower flowers. If you plan to grow our Feminized seeds outdoors, we have developed a grow guide for optimal cultivation in any area of the world.

Remember that our cannabis plants also need good nutrients when our Feminized seeds are seedlings, in their vegetative period, and in their flowering period.

When growing cannabis seeds outdoors, choose the best date for your crop and a place where cannabis plants can receive the most hours of sunshine. If you would like to grow your seeds indoors, be sure to have good tents, textile pots for growing, LED lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air, and of course a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law.

Keep daytime temperatures between 68℉-80℉ and nighttime temperatures between 7℉-9℉ cooler.

Mimosa cannabis plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) levels at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase. Reduce RH to around 40% during the flowering phase. By harvest time, you can reduce RH to 30%.

Outdoors: growers in the northern hemisphere should sow their cannabis seeds in April for harvest in mid-October. Healthy Feminized Mimosa seed produce about 21 – 28 oz/plant | 600 – 800 gr/plant of buds each. Indoors, these crops have a flowering time of 8 – 10 weeks and produce about 2.29 oz/ft2 | 700 gr/m2.

What Does The Mimosa Strain Smell Like?

The buds of the Mimosa Cannabis are rock hard, soaked in resin and often have a crystalline sheen due to the amount of trichomes. They look as if they came from the moon and are excessively covered with resinous trichomes. The taste can be described as the perfect blend of citrus, orange, pine, and sweet flavors. Mimosa Strain makes a delicious soft smoke and combines a wide range of effects including a happy experience with a good dose of energy. Its rare genes produce a premium weed that is hard to beat. Thanks to its large resin production, it is the ideal strain for the production of high-quality extracts and concentrates.

A good terpene profile enhances the flavors of the buds of cannabis plants. Terpenes are volatile organic compounds that are produced in the cannabis plant and have an effect on the aroma and flavor of the buds. The most common terpenes are Alpha Humulene, Alpha-Pinene, Beta-Caryophyllene, Beta-Myrcene, Limonene, Linalool, Menthol, and Terpinolene.

These terpenes act as a kind of energizer for the flavors of the buds, as they add a fresh, citrusy touch to the sweeter flavors found in the buds. Terpenes play an important role in the taste and aroma of cannabis which may have any effect on the overall user experience. For example, some terpenes have sedative properties, while others can act as stimulants.

For this reason, it is important to know the different terpenes found in a given cannabis strain before smoking it, in order to get the most out of the flavors and effects they produce.
